Joseph Tatlow was a life long railway employee, his career taking him to manager and ultimately director level. This publication is his autobiography. Most of his working career was spent in Ireland, where he worked for the Belfast & County Down Railway and later the Midland Great Western Railway. The book is an interesting look at the railways of Britain and Ireland in the 19th and early 20th Century. Recently, taking advantage of the fact that the book is ex copyright, a number of people with original copies of this book have produced reprints of this work. These often cost more than an original! If it is just the text that you want, the [http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/17299|Gutenberg Project] has an ebook version of this work which can be downloaded for free.
